AJEY LELE
Ajey Lele is presently working as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Delhi since 2001. He specializes on issues related to Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) with focus on Biological Weapons and Strategic Technologies. He authored “Bio-Weapons: The Genie in the Bottle (2004) and “Weather and Warfare” (2006). He has written for Strategic Analysis, Indian Defence Review, Dialogue, Air Power and Astropolitics.

ALOK BANSAL
Alok Bansal is presently a Research Fellow at the Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Delhi. His areas of interest include Pakistan, Nepal, Srilanka, Maldives, Indian Diaspora and Maritime Issues. His monograph on Balochistan is under publication. He has written for Strategic Analysis, Agni, Pinnacle (ARTRAC Journal) and Journal of Indian Ocean Studies, besides a number of newspapers and websites.

ANIMESH ROUL
Animesh Roul is Co-founder and presently, the Executive Director (Research) of the Society for the Study of Peace and Conflict, New Delhi. He served as a Research Fellow (Coordinator) at SSPC between Sept. 2004- Aug. 2006. He is involved with independent think tanks, media houses, and policy organizations in India and abroad and contributes regularly to web portals, newspapers, and scholarly journals. In his earlier stint, he worked as a Research Associate at New Delhi based Institute for Conflict Management (ICM). Mr Roul, recently joined Counter Terrorism Blog, New Jersey as a contributing expert. He has contributed to Terrorism Focus/Monitor (Jamestown Foundation), ISN Security Watch (as Senior Correspondent, India), World Politics Watch and Peace and Conflict Monitor.

AMRISH SAHGAL
Amrish Sahgal, an alumnus of IIM Ahemedabad, heads a New Delhi based consultancy firm, Unicorn International, which engages in Corporate and Business Strategy, Media Relations and Technology Transfers. Amrish writes on matters connected with Defence, International Relations and Security. His articles have been published in Indian Defence Review, Pinnacle, USI Journal, Trishul, Defence & Technology, and Agni.

AVILASH ROUL
Avilash Roul is the Assistant South Asia Regional Coordinator of Bank Information Center, (USA), New New Delhi. He also worked as a Researcher/Reporter in the Environment and Poverty unit of Delhi-based NGO, Center for Science and Environment (CSE). His involvement in grassroots across South Asia is remarkable. He has published extensively on international environmental negotiations, river disputes, environment and development, energy, climate change, wildlife, forests, tribal rights, poverty & livelihood, natural resource conflict issues in South Asia in various national newspapers and journals. He has written for EcoWorld, Down to Earth and New India Express.

BIBHU PRASAD ROUTRAY
Bibhu Prasad Routray is a Research Fellow with the Institute for Conflict Management(ICM), New Delhi and is involved in research and documentation activities with regard to conflicts in India's Northeast and Islamist extremism in Bangladesh. Mr. Routray has written extensively in various scholarly journals, print and web media on terrorism, internal security and democracy. He has written for Faultlines: Writings on Conflict & Resolution, The Power and Interest News Report (PINR), Bharat Rakshak Monitor, ASIANaffairs and Asia Times.

DEBA RANJAN MOHANTY
Deba R. Mohanty is a Senior Fellow in Security Studies at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), New Delhi. Before joining ORF, he had served as an Associate Fellow at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Delhi. He was a Senior Visiting Fellow at the South Asian Strategic Stability Unit at the Department of Peace Studies, University of Bradford, UK (December 2005 – February 2006). Earlier, he was a Ford Visiting Fellow at the Bonn International Center for Conversion (BICC), Germany (September 2002 – March 2003). His writings on security studies have found place in Military Technology, Bulletin of Arms Control, Strategic Analysis, Air Power, Force and National Review.

GARIMA SINGH
Garima Singh is Associate Fellow, Center for Research on Energy Security, Global Resources Division, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi. She was earlier worked with the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), New Delhi.

JEFFREY MOK
Jeffrey Mok is a Fellow at the Faculty of Comparative Culture, Miyazaki International College, Miyazaki, Japan.

HARINDER SEKHON
Harinder Sekhon, presently a Senior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, New Delhi. She is the author of Five Decades of Indo-US Relations: Strategic and Intellectual, UBSPD, Delhi, 2002.

LAXMAN KUMAR BEHERA
Laxman Kumar Behera is an Associate Fellow in Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis (IDSA), New Delhi. He is working on his doctoral thesis, “Natural Gas Market in West Asia & North Africa: Prospects for India” at the West Asian & African Studies in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

MOHAMMED BADRUL ALAM
Mohammed Badrul Alam is a Professor at the Department of Political Science, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Before joining Jamia Milia, he was a Professor of Area Studies at the Miyazaki International College, Japan. A prolific scholar and writer, Dr Alam has written for Journal of East Asian Affairs, Comparative Culture and The Indonesian Quarterly, among others.

MPHO MASHABA
Mpho Mashaba is a Researcher in the Organized Crime and Money Laundering Programme at Institute for Security Studies (ISS), South Africa.
